Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Driver in West Bountiful, UT. You will provide security services at a chemical and petrochemical refinery location, performing routine patrols, monitoring access, and delivering excellent customer service while adhering to site policies.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work a fixed schedule from Monday to Friday.

• Monitor access control points and verify authorized entry per site requirements, and document visitors and incidents.
• Communicate conditions and maintenance concerns to site contacts and leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control operations. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical refinery location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-condition reports, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notification protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of refinery facilities, access points, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements, while maintaining accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Communicate observed conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
