Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Louisville, KY. This part-time position involves patrolling, monitoring access, and maintaining a visible security presence at a chemical/petrochemical location. A valid driver's license is required, with daytime and overnight shifts and a pay rate of $22.00 per hour.

You will deliver customer service, respond to incidents, and follow site procedures while upholding Allied Universal’s values and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-materials-related concerns, and critical situations following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, document entries and incidents.
• Report hazards, equipment issues, policy violations, and suspicious activity to site personnel and leadership.

As an unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-materials-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-support areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and document entries, incidents, and unusual conditions in accordance with site requirements.
• Report observed hazards, equipment issues, policy violations, and suspicious activity to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
