Allied Universal in Elizabethtown, KY is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Driver Patrol to perform unarmed patrols at a chemical and petrochemical site, maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents, support access control, and deliver outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with clients and team members. The role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Background check and drug screen will be conducted.
• Be at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles).
• CPR/First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies following site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access and verify visitor/contractor authorization.
• Complete detailed reports and shift communications per site requirements.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-materials-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
