Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Customer Service in Columbus, OH. You will serve and safeguard clients across industries, including airport settings, while delivering exceptional customer service and adhering to site procedures.

As an unarmed patrol officer at an airport, you will conduct patrols, monitor access points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents with a calm, solution-focused approach. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, tenants, and airport personnel while carrying out security procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, and other areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and report incidents or access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other events with calm problem-solving and clear communication.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate with airport personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents while supporting travelers, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, tenants, and/or airport personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and request additional support when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with airport personnel, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
