Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Patrol Customer Service in Columbus, OH. You will provide frontline security, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service to patients, visitors and staff at a healthcare location.

You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to emergencies while maintaining a welcoming environment and upholding the company values of agility, reliability, and integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Valid armed guard card or license required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors and staff while following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances and other critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry to restricted areas.
• Document incidents and communicate findings to site leadership and management.

As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, donors, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, patrol activity, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate them to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
