Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to airport visitors, passengers, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, public areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site representatives.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Facility Patrolin Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and assist visitors with professionalism. Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
