As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Visitor Assistance in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and assist travelers, visitors, and staff with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, document observations using computer or tablet tools, and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations and public-service personnel as appropriate.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
