Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Credential Validation in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Pre-Employment Requirements

1+ Years Prior Military Experience (Hawaii Only) (C166)

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.


• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.


• Complete accurate reports and daily activity logs regarding patrols, incidents, and observed conditions.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of prior military experience is required for roles in Hawaii only.


• A guard card or license is preferred.


• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Access control or badge experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
