Job summary

Allied Universal in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer for a logistics and distribution site. You will perform regular patrols, deter incidents, and provide courteous customer service to staff and visitors.

The position offers flexible shifts at $30.66 per hour. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent; a state license is preferred; background check and drug screen are required where permitted by law; driving license required only for driving positions.

Qualifications

• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and vehicle traffic; verify authorized access in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications with accuracy and professionalism.
