Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Credentialing in Honolulu, HI to protect clients across distribution and logistics locations. You will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, manage visitor access, and provide outstanding customer service while staying alert to deter incidents.

You’ll work a consistent schedule and be part of a collaborative team that values integrity, safety, and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
• Coordinate with dispatch, receiving, and warehouse personnel regarding scheduled deliveries, driver check‑in, trailer movement, and restricted‑area access.
• Respond to access‑control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, including the business perimeter, parking areas, docks, gates, and access points, to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
