Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Verification in Honolulu, HI to serve clients across logistics and distribution locations. Qualifications

• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred (not mandatory).
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen is required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and vehicle traffic; verify authorized access per site requirements.
• Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications with accuracy.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and vehicle traffic; verify authorized access in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications with accuracy and professionalism.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
