Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Computer Reporting in Seattle, WA. You will provide customer service, patrol assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents at a retail/mall location.

Responsibilities include incident response, reporting, and communication with leadership. Must be 18+ for unarmed roles, with background checks and possible drug screening as required by law. Competitive benefits available.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Computer Reporting in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors and tenants. Using clear communication and a caring, people-first approach, you will support a welcoming environment while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail and mall location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols of common areas, retail spaces, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, helping to deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and other policy violations.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership, law enforcement, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal management as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
