Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Security Guard in Seattle, WA. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering outstanding customer service at a technology-focused site.

The role requires minimum security experience, a high school diploma, and ability to pass background checks. A CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, with the position scheduled for daytime and night shifts in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Background checks as part of employment process.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, exterior spaces, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, and provide clear directions and assistance to guests and personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
