Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Seattle, WA to provide security services at rail facilities. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond professionally to incidents, while delivering exceptional customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to site policies, with a pay rate of $24.74 per hour and flexible daytime schedules. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions where applicable.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and assist visitors with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at rail facilities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, offices, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and follow-up needs to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
