Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Site Inspection in Boston, MA to monitor, patrol, and deter unauthorized activity at a financial institution location.

You will provide customer service, enforce site policies, and respond to incidents with professional communication and proper reporting. CPR preferred; 2+ years security experience required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and other guests at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site policies, documenting unusual occurrences and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
