Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Monitoring in Boston, MA. You will patrol, deter incidents, handle alarms, and respond professionally to security concerns at a financial institution location.

Qualified candidates will have a concealed carry permit and at least 1 year of security experience, plus a background check and drug screen as required by law. This is a full-time role with a 25.00 per hour pay rate.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry into restricted areas in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, including observations from patrols and responses to security-related events.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
