• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying authorization and directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and daily documentation while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Alarm Response in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to document activities. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
