Job summary

Allied Universal in Flower Mound, TX is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Assurance to monitor and safeguard a technology, media, and telecommunications location, providing outstanding customer service and maintaining a visible security presence. • Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site protocols.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a welcoming environment.

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
