Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a full-time Security Officer in Clarksville, TN. You’ll provide client and visitor service, patrol facilities, monitor access points, and report incidents per site procedures. You’ll complete logs and daily activity reports while ensuring safety and security standards.

The role requires a HS Diploma (or equivalent), background checks, and a pre-employment drug screen. A valid driver’s license is needed for driving posts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate locations.
• Observe and report incidents, damage, hazards, and/or suspicious activity, responding to critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
