Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Compliance Patrol in Springfield, MA to provide reliable, professional security services at a government facility, carrying out access control, patrols, and incident response. You will work a flexible day schedule with anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, at a pay rate of $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at a government facility by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public agencies as required.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by communicating professionally with the public and reporting maintenance concerns or conditions requiring attention.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Compliance Patrol in Springfield, MA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
