• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, and designated operational areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Observe and report potential hazards, damaged equipment, unusual conditions, and policy violations to appropriate site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Status Reporting in Everett, MA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
