Allied Universal, Springfield, MO, is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver Monitoring to join a local site. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts, providing reliable hours and opportunities to grow within the industry.

You will support a safe, welcoming environment by performing patrols, monitoring access, and responding to incidents, while maintaining clear reports and following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity when required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver Monitoring in Springfield, MO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.21 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
