Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Sedalia, MO. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while reporting observations to site leadership.

This is a full-time, unarmed position with a pay rate of $18.95 per hour. You will perform site-specific security procedures, respond to incidents, and document activities to support safe operations.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and report unauthorized entry attempts.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations and concerns to site contacts and leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting unauthorized entry attempts or policy concerns.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
