Job summary

Allied Universal in Sedalia, MO is seeking a Security Officer (unarmed) to safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You will patrol, deter security incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service while representing Allied Universal’s culture of care and integrity.

This full-time role features an evening schedule and a pay rate of $18.95 per hour. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents per site procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal/state/local laws.
• Allied Universal considers applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and exterior perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization per site procedures, report unusual conditions.
• Document patrols, incidents and observations accurately and communicate to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
