Job summary

Allied Universal in Redlands, CA is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide reliable site security with fixed shifts and opportunities to Earn more via shift pickups. This role offers flexible part-time hours and a path toward full-time work with the industry leader.

You will perform unarmed security duties at a manufacturing and industrial location, monitor access, patrol areas, respond to incidents, and complete detailed reports.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including production spaces, loading docks, employee entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document relevant access‑related information.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation, and report maintenance concerns, unusual conditions, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

As a Security Officer / Patrol in Redlands, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
