As a Security Officer Enhanced Access Coordination in Redlands, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun: 12:00 PM - 08:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and control the flow of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, the business, and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete required documentation, including visitor logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, while maintaining professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security‑related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site, there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
