Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Patrol Driver for Vista, CA. This part-time position offers flexible hours with anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

You will provide security support by patrolling, monitoring access, and assisting tenants and staff. The role starts at $20.00 per hour and requires a valid driver’s license and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors and staff per site procedures and emergency responses when needed
• Respond to incidents and security concerns calmly and document observations
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the property and perimeter locations
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and provide directions to authorized occupants
• Complete required reports, log daily activity and incident documentation promptly

As a Security Officer Enhanced Patrol Driver in Vista, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

DayTimeMon07:00 PM - 03:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, providing directions and assistance to authorized occupants and guests.
• Complete required reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
