Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; maintain accurate incident and patrol documentation.
• Support a professional, welcoming environment and communicate clearly with site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer Patrol in Prince George, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology facilities, office areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Support a professional, welcoming environment while communicating clearly with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
