Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Patrol in Kahului, HI. This full-time role focuses on protecting clients across transportation facilities, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering excellent service.

As a Patrol Officer you will monitor areas, report unusual activity, and support a welcoming environment per site procedures. Pay is $22.66/hour with a defined daytime schedule and shift rotations.

Qualifications

• State, county, or city security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and transportation personnel following site procedures and emergency guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transportation facilities, staging areas, parking zones, access points, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and direct visitors, vendors, and vehicle traffic per procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly, notify appropriate personnel, and document observations and actions.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation promptly and accurately.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and transportation personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transportation facilities, vehicle staging areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify authorization as required, and assist with directing visitors, vendors, and vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations and actions taken.
• Complete required activity logs, incident records, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
