The position is full-time with daytime/evening shifts; prior security experience and a high school diploma are required, plus background checks and drug screening as part of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and healthcare partners by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding grounds to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Complete required incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation accurately and promptly.

Pre-Employment Requirement: Security Experience - +1 Years (C115)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and healthcare partners by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
