Qualifications

• Criminal history will be considered consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Communications in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a financial institution setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the financial institution location, including business areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
