Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Kahului, HI to monitor transportation facilities, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service. You will conduct regular patrols, verify access, and report observations to leadership and client representatives.

The role is full-time with a Tue? schedule; pay rate is $22.66 per hour. A background check, 18+ age, HS diploma, and drug screening are required, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transportation clients, passengers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transportation facilities, parking areas, vehicle staging areas, access points, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of pedestrian and vehicle traffic patterns.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
