Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations using computer or tablet tools. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.


• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for tenants and guests.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.


• Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
