You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, manage access control, and provide professional customer service and communication. Using computer or tablet tools, you will support loss prevention efforts while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor activity, and reporting unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
