Job summary

Allied Universal in Clarksville, TN is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to patrol and protect client sites, maintain a visible presence, and deliver excellent customer service. This role is based on logistics sites with a daytime and night schedule and uses our shift-claim platform to explore additional opportunities.

The position requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, background check, and drug screening where permitted by law; licensing may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout warehouse, loading dock, trailer yard, parking, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for personnel and visitors, and document truck, trailer, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate observed hazards or policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
