Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Clarksville, IN. You will protect clients across Retail/Malls and other sectors, while maintaining a visible presence and delivering excellent customer service.

This driving role requires a valid driver's license and a flexible schedule under our Shift Claim platform. As part of a caring, agile team, you’ll patrol, respond to incidents, and follow site procedures with integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the job state.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, associates and visitors while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols at the retail location, including entrances, exits and parking areas.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Monitor access points and observe conditions throughout the location, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or law enforcement as appropriate.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming shopping environment and following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
