Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for area patrols in Claude, TX. You will provide customer service, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents at a food and beverage location.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage-related location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production and storage areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and public agencies as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, visitor activity, deliveries, and other security-related observations.
