Job summary

Allied Universal, Clinton, TN, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver to serve a government location with nightly shifts. You’ll perform armed patrols, verify credentials, and respond to incidents, while delivering strong customer service and professional reporting.

Eligible candidates have 3+ years in security/government or a related field, a valid driver’s license, and be 21 or older for armed roles. This is a part-time posting with wage details shown above.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Armed guard card/license preferred.
• Pepper spray certification preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required as per policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a government utility location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and critical infrastructure locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and report unusual conditions or access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following established escalation and emergency response protocols.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
