Allied Universal’s Chantilly location seeks a part-time Safety Officer Patrol to monitor facilities, deter security issues, and provide excellent service to employees and visitors. The role emphasizes unarmed patrols, access control, and timely incident reporting.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms, maintaining logs, and coordinating with site leadership. You must meet age, education, and licensing requirements for security roles and be able to work weekends as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Maintain daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs and communicate observations to leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sun 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and vendor authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site requirements.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs while communicating observations and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
