Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Chantilly, VA. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver excellent customer service to a technology and communications site.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology and communications location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including the business perimeter, entrances, parking areas, and critical infrastructure spaces, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, employees, and public-service responders while supporting a professional and orderly work environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
