Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Calvert City, KY to provide unarmed security services at a chemical/petrochemical location. You will monitor access, deter incidents, and support site procedures while delivering excellent customer service and working as part of Allied Universal’s collaborative team. Position Type: Full Time.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour. Schedule includes Thursday through Saturday from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, buildings, perimeter, parking areas, and access points to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials, documenting visitor activity, and reporting access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following escalation and emergency protocols.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while following PPE and site-entry protocols.

As a Security Officer Patrol in Calvert City, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site procedures. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and contribute to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven team culture.

• Thur: 06:00 AM - 06:30 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 06:30 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 06:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while following required protective equipment and site-entry protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
