Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer Patrol in Ville Platte, LA. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor site access, verify credentials, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the chemical and petrochemical location, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain required entry and exit records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly notify site contacts and emergency responders as directed by post orders.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, document incidents and observations, and follow site requirements for protective equipment and restricted-area access.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Ville Platte, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations promptly. You will support access control, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
