Qualifications

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with badge verification and directing guests.
• Document patrol observations and incidents in clear, timely reports for leadership.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor alarm and access control systems, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.26 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sun 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, assisting with badge verification and directing guests appropriately.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in clear, timely reports for Allied Universal and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
