You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations with professionalism, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 10:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government services location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor activity, incidents, and observations in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain readiness to respond to security-related situations while handling assigned equipment responsibly and completing required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
