Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Weekend Security Officer in Tempe, AZ. You will provide customer service, conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents to deter unauthorized activity across our financial institution client sites.

Qualifications

• One year or more of security-related experience.

• Background screening and drug test required by policy.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following site policies.

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, and parking areas.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor alarm and access control systems, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, assisting with badge verification and directing guests appropriately.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in clear, timely reports for Allied Universal and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
