As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, monitor access activity, and respond to alarms and security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $16.82 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the industrial location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized entry, damaged access-control equipment, and unusual activity.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, access-control events, incidents, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
