Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Minimum 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout facilities and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain logs/reports.

• Observe and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations per site procedures.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, hazards, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
