Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Weekend Unarmed Security Officer in Chula Vista, CA. You will provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff while patrolling retail areas to deter security issues and maintain a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher.
• Background check required in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the retail property including common areas and parking areas.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally and follow site protocols.
• Monitor access points and deter unauthorized access, theft, or disruptive behavior.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations to site management and emergency responders.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 01:00 AM - 05:00 AM
• Sun: 01:00 AM - 05:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and activity throughout the location, helping to deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and/or disruptive behavior.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with site management, tenants, and/or emergency responders regarding incidents and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
