Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for weekend coverage at a San Diego healthcare location. You will greet visitors, manage access control, and monitor entry activity to deter incidents while delivering professional customer service.

The role emphasizes security procedures, badge processes, and coordination with site leadership to maintain a safe environment. Training and growth opportunities are provided within Allied Universal’s team.

Qualificações

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, patients, vendors, and staff at the front desk of a healthcare location while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor credentials and/or appointments, issue visitor passes and maintain entry records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify site contacts and emergency responders as required.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general site information, and communicate professionally with healthcare personnel and visitors.
• Observe front desk activity and report unusual conditions, policy violations, or security‑related concerns to site leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, patients, vendors, and staff at the front desk of a healthcare location while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor credentials and/or appointments, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as required.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general site information, and communicate professionally with healthcare personnel and visitors.
• Observe front desk activity and report unusual conditions, policy violations, or security‑related concerns to site leadership in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
