Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Corporate Patrol in San Diego, CA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts at a designated site and the flexibility to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $20.25 per hour with a part-time schedule designed for income stability and potential progression toward a full-time role. A background check and drug screen may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Licensing requirements are preferred/required where applicable.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by following security procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity around the location, reporting suspicious activity and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, coordinating with appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs as required.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Corporate Patrol in San Diego, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon08:30 AM - 05:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, members, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within and around the location, and report unusual conditions, suspicious activity, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
